Yep, already done. Learned the hard way last time.
I've been trying to reinstall since yesterday, but it just keeps bloody failing.
I don't want to redownload 5 gigs 3 times in a row just to install once!
Well then, I'm seeing that the Oculus Setup itself now attempts to install third party drivers while installing Oculus Client itself
This makes it even more prone to failing to install properly than before!
On top of that, you can't tell it to use…
Somebody mentionnned segregation of the community accross platforms
Personally, I enjoy going on the VR channel on Discord.
It has a section for Rift, but lets you intermingle with other VR users in the more broad term, and it's all in one place, …
You can just set your supersampling per-game with an INI file like the one I provided actually
The reason I made a thread here is that some people here might not be on Reddit.
I for instance, only go there from time to time due to fetch quests for …
I basically want all the games people say would be "stupid ideas for VR" to be in VR.
Especially 3D platformers like A Hat in Time, or games like Dark Souls
I was thinking RuneScape would be nice.
I really want VR support on games like …

What's going on is that UAC is doing something very odd, but somewhat logical-
It's preventing an application running from a normal user account from speaking with an application running from an admin…
Hi. When I run the MorrowRift EXE, the game starts up normally, and the headset tells me it's loading, but it never loads into the headset.
In fact, no tracking of any kind can be seen in the game.
Currently using Core 2.0, 1.32
Not to be disrespectful, but as a VR enthusiast, while I can understand this is all part of the brand Oculus is trying to build, it's ultimately nothing more than annoying at best, and paranoia inducing at worst
Having all the information y…
Please use, proper punctuation, please, so I can actually get a rest from your sentences without being kept forward as if it was a never-ending sentence & just kept edging me on like this, or like when you actually make a super long sentence&…
This is still not fixed.
I've sent as feedback, and hope to see these issues fixed.
A solution to the installation problem would already be to just put the third party drivers in a redist folder for each individual game, and let us deal with it ins…
I have your fix!
What's happening is that you're running OVRServer64 on a different account than what OTT is, so it's getting confused
They both need to run as administrator
To do that, you go in services.msc, find Oculus Runtime, and change the…
Because it's under FaceBook, and they flat out tell you in their end-user agreement that you don't get to use the product you paid over 450$ CAD for if you don't agree with them spying on you, of course
Have more than one person keeping a lookout outside of VR
Don't want to end up with students being abused without being able to see who did it.
Have cameras focused on the people in VR, as an additional security measure.
Don't want this to…
This is still a problem
Game ran fine at the beginning of the day, and then it started running like complete garbage. I passed from 75% CPU utilisation while running a game (game using 34% CPU) to 90%.
When I checked OVRServer64.exe, it was using 2…
See, this is why I think public testing and Early Access scenarios don't work.
Your testers have no incentive to stay in buggy releases to give you detailed information on bugs.
Most will simply go back to non-beta and not bother.
I had been in public test for a bit.
I disabled Home2 by renaming its .exe within the appropriate folder (Binary in this case, since it's Unreal Engine)
Before 1.26, I could use Dash without Home2 just fine (if we don't count the keyboard not work…
