I don't know but let's pretend your 2nd may have a chance to be flawless. But for now when you delete spud folder you have to restart the Oculus VR Runtime Service because without restarting the files stay cached.

Seems like on my girl friend computer's the SPUD folder is not "fetched" / doesn't exist? But I'm pretty sure SPUD work since i don't have "crazy godrays" all over the place... I don't quite understand
