But for now when you delete spud folder you have to restart the Oculus VR Runtime Service because without restarting the files stay cached.

Conclusion on this when you first plug in your RIFT headset SPUD is not loaded as long as you don't unplug it.
If for any reason the RIFT gets unpluged when your computer is ON, SPUD get turned ON and gives you the impression that your RIFT is broke…
Seems like on my girl friend computer's the SPUD folder is not "fetched" / doesn't exist? But I'm pretty sure SPUD work since i don't have "crazy godrays" all over the place... I don't quite understand
Good news for Oculus today..... The mura issue milky way / galaxy / constellation / or whatever is NOT LINKED TO AN HARDWARE DEFECT.

Been asked by the support to upload pictures of my rift.
And I did so here is what I have, actually I didnt play with it since a week because I can't even bear it anymore.... even in bright games :(
For information I was adviced by the support to completely delete all oculus file (including APPDATA) and trying to reinstall everything.... with some hope i did it but still the issue is there but now i can confirm that all the isssue seems to came…
