I am looking to connect an IntelRealsense L515 LiDAR scanner to the Oculus Quest. It looks like you need a USB 'On the Go' cable to connect the device to the headset (which is basically an Android device), you may then need to use the Intel Realsesne Android SDK to make the connection to the Oculus app. The first challenge is to find the right USB OTG cable as the device is USB C and pulls power from the parent hardware. The other challenge would be creating the plugin for Unity to bridge between the native and Unity layer so I can pull in the point-cloud data and video feed.
Does anyone want to help me with this project? Will be super-cool if we can get it working. Imagine walking around a LiDAR scanned version of reality? I intend to use the Unity VFXGraph to manipulate the point data to make the environment really trippy as you explore.
