What are the options are in VR development, to keep a player aware of his orientation in his/her room?
The options I have seen so far:
- An arrow in the middle of the room. In my experience this is not a great way to keep the player aware of his orientation, because he specifically needs to look down for this & need to be in the center of the room or know what direction to look at.

I used to heavily play online vr shooters. To solve this issue and know what direction I was facing I'd have one corner of my VR boundary / guardian chipped / bevelled.
If you recycle your user's guardian into a spline generating mesh you could do something similar. But they'd need to do some of the job themselve by aknowleding what direction that means..
