BRINK Traveler is a great experience - travel the world from home :-)

The app is available for both Quest and PCVR, and PCVR has according to the devs 2x higher textures quality, better audio and runs at 90 fps.

There's full locomotion and smooth turning, but the area where you can move is of course limited.

Being made for Quest, I did think my humble rig would be able to pull some magic. And it did - I was able to use a totally massive res 500% with SteamVR and still got 90 fps. Not sure if that's 40 mill pixels per frame, lol - I took some shots, it's some of the best photogrammatry I've seen - but may be due to the res 500% 😉

Maybe a boring shot - but these ground textures simply look real and photo-realistic using Index res 500%.

This is antialiasing to perfection - using res 500% - do you see any jaggies on the plants or their shadows? It's even better in VR!

Btw, found out I've got totally solid 144 fps even using res 500% 😮 (with the Index) - so you do not need a fast rig to travel with Brink - even a GTX 1060 might be fine
