Launch trailer:
Still need to complete Dreadhalls, of course not because I'm scared of that game, my shoelaces just keep getting untied!

Although this game is being released for PCVR, it does look extremely Questified to me.

Btw, although Cosmodread isn't bad - I'll probably rate it 6/10 or 7/10 (for the native Rift support in the Steam version) - but I can't help thinking that Dead Space in 2008 had a much higher poly count (of course Dead Space had a bigger budget, but may put the Quest 2 processor power into some perspecitve):
I do consider Cosmodread heavily inspired by Dead Space. Looks like the Quest version has about 25 % of the poly count of Dead Space... And Dead Space wasn't even that impressive in 2008, I do remember considering the poly level somewhat low - maybe great I've stopped playing pancake games, now I'm blissfully ignorant what modern 2D games look like

Just picked this game up again, and to my delight, I saw that they've added new control options. There is now an option to "lefty swap" the sticks for smooth locomotion, which addresses my one complaint from when I tried it a month ago. They also added a seated mode, which I appreciate.
I had previously played the PC version via Virtual Desktop. Today I played the Quest version, and noticed that it includes dynamic realtime shadows just like the PC version. I'm not sure if they updated the Quest 2 version with more graphical enhancements or if it always had this, but it looks basically identical to the PC version, so I'll probably just play the native Quest 2 version going forward.
Edit: I see no dynamic realtime shadows in the Quest 2 videos posted above, so I guess they added them in a recent update.
