OMG you have got to download and try this, It's for the vive but if you put the DLL from this location in the same folder as the App exe it runs fine..

Feel a little sick after about an hour zooming around the world.

Yup, just downloaded GEVR and FakeVive yesterday.  I don't have Touch, but was able to do simple navigation using my keyboard (hold down Tab + move head to rotate view, hold down spacebar + move head to travel).  I'm sure it's much better using a motion controller like Touch or Vive's controllers).

That scene of the canyon in France is amazing!  I also spent about 45 minutes hovering over parts of Rome, and some time in Manhattan.  Simply awesome for a freebie, but I would have gladly thrown money at Google for it as well.

Yes we know Lemming. Dear Lord how many posts are there about this!?

I've been using it with touch for the first time, but I have seen people talk about "looking at their dead cat" and things like that, how do you zoom into street level? I can't get any closer than simply hovering above it

To my knowledge it does not have proper street level. You need Viso Rift for that (google it).

Well I'm guess that you knew what the thread was going to be about before you clicked it. YOU had the option not to bother you know.

Agterbosch , there is an option to turn on full scale in the menu. it's good to get an idea about the scale, But IMHO the quality isn't good enough to have a wow factor, Certainly not good enough to see a dead cat 😉

@Agterbosch you have to enable Human Scale in the options, then point your right controller directly up and at the same time press down on the stick. It will take you to ground level but whether you can see a dead cat is debatable!

I'm not at my PC right now but if you watch the video in @LZoltowski 's post earlier in the other thread on this subject, you'll see the fella access the options
