Worth checking out, especially if you already happen to have the game.

does this support the newest runtimes?  So many of the promising DK2 titles simply do not run any more, and in many cases the devs are no longer responding to support questions so no idea if it is worth buying any more.

thanks
Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR 🙂

I was playing last night on CV1 and it seems to work fine. http://steamcommunity.com/app/238280/discussions/0/392184522721728395/

"Right Click on the game in Steam -> Local Files tab -> Browse Local Files...
This will open an explorer window with three .bat files. Running those once will switch it to that mode and launch the game. Then, every time you launch from steam after that, it will stay in that mode."
I just run the oculus .bat file as opening with steam after running it I receive and error.

Legend of Dungeon VR got a new patch in December 2018 and is an awesome game in VR:

"New Update Incoming! Join the Beta and try it out!

14 DEC, 2018 @ 4:48AM - CAP'N ROBOT
We've made some major improvements to the VR mode, and while we were at it added a bunch of new monsters, items and secrets! If you want to try it out before it launches, opt into the beta and help us test it! robotloveskitty"

I got Legend of Dungeon working perfectly yesterday, it's one of my favorite pancake games, especially due to the local 4 player co-op. I don't know if it's possible to play 1 person in VR and 3 persons on a monitor...

Controls were a pain though - I couldn't get Touch to work, but a gamepad worked fine. If something goes wrong with the controls, I think the best way is to start the pancake version and then to setup controls (seems like VR and pancake versions share same control settings).  Then you can use mouse + keyboard if something went wrong with Touch or the gamepad. I used the .bat-file in the game's Steam folder to start the VR version (I constantly got an error in SteamVR saying my current controllers = Touch didn't match the game's requirement - even though I had turned on the gamepad. Controls may be a mess and take time to set up, but it's worth the trouble). Remember to join the beta to get the new patch:

"Opt into beta for VR
To launch LoD in VR modes from SteamVR, opt into the beta 🙂

Right click on the game in your library
Select Properties
Go to the BETAS tab
Select 'beta' from the dropdown
click CLOSE

LoD should update to the beta (The VR mode is super stable) and you should be able to launch from SteamVR now."

Maybe $10 is also too much - it takes less than 6 minutes to complete the game  😄

Kinda depressing, in less than 3 minutes that dude progresses further in the game than I've done in years  :'(

I think it's procedurally generated too so there's replay value...unless I'm remembering things wrong?

You're not - there's great replay value, the levels are never fully the same, which also makes the 5:50 min speedrun more impressive (maybe he got lucky, lol). Actually there's great play value, I've never been to level 26  😄 I've never even seen level 20  But I take my time to clean all floors - and get all the stuff - I drink all the wrong potions and die a lot o:)
