I'm normally not that much into this kind of art, but I gave it a shot - and I was simply blown away. I never expected that graphics like this was even possible on the Rift, admitted I'm forcing super-sampling 2.0, but still. (Sorry about these Vive trailers, but I couldn't find the Oculus trailer on YouTube.)

The Silence of the Frames 😂
Well, the title refers to me getting the RTX 3090. The Kremer Collection is still my favorite art collection in VR due to the awesome high-res images. You simply need extremely high levels of super sampling to truly enjoy the images.
Using the old heavily oc'ed GTX 1080, I could enjoy ss 2.0, but with asw 2.0. The frames surrounding the paintings are very elaborate with tons of details, and asw 2.0 just could get it right. Thus the frames easily gave the asw 2.0 away - and cause some flickering.
But now with the RTX 3090, the frames are silent - no more flickering or asw 2.0. I got solid 90 fps using the CV1 ss 2.0. I greatly enjoyed that last evening, watching several paintings. Still totally feels like having your own art museum.
I think the Kremer Collection is now free in the Rift Store - but I bought it when it launched and can't see the price:

- or maybe it was just free for a short time, it's still 10 bucks on Steam - which is very cheap for getting your own art museum 😉

I prefer oled for this app. Pretty sure it was made for oled (Index res 200% impressed me less than CV1 ss 2.0).

Kremer Collection is still my favorite art show in VR - it never stops to amaze. Took a few shots - this is a painting by Rembrandt, might be the most expensive piece in the collection:
Since Kremer uses ultramersion res (=extreme ultra-high resolution) we can go closer:

It seems there was some dispute if the painting was by Rembrandt or by one of his students, but that experts have ruled it's a painting made by the master himself. You can even see the back of the painting:

More images to show the extreme res and immersion-facilitating experience - really feels like you're watching a real paining:

A nice and stimulating painting 🙂
An elegant gentleman - check out the details:
Interestingly, The Kremer Collection is still free in the Rift Store, but costs $10 on Steam. It works perfectly with Revive. All images taken while wearing the Index - using SteamVR res 300% with Revive. Res 300% with a RTX 3090 seems to be the highest I can go for 90 fps - might be able to do res 400% with the Steam version, but that'll cost me 10 bucks 😉
