Actually there is no Summer Sale for the Rifts, because Meta does not seem to care much about the persons who originally supported VR the best they could by buying the awesome Rift hmds. But Quest has a great Summer Sale - which may open a hidden door for a Rift Summer Sale too! 🤓
It works by knowing which games are cross-buy. Thus if you buy a game and it's cross-buy, then you'll get access to the high-end PCVR version after buying the low-end Quest version.
Be careful though - even if a game is cross-buy, it's only on sale in the Quest Store, but not in the Rift Store.
An example - you want to get Walkabout Mini Golf for $10.49 for your Rift hmd. Then buy it in the Quest Store, and right after the purchase it's available for free in the Rift Store and you can now install the PCVR version. But Walkabout Mini Golf is not on sale in the Rift Store, where the price still is the full $15, only the price in the Quest Store is reduced.
So the Rift Sale is on - but limited to cross-buy games and must be purchased in the Quest Store. Slightly cumbersome, but it works.
Here's a list of cross-buy games (not a complete list, but there are many):

Myst PCVR for $18 is pretty awesome! The high-end PCVR Myst versions is incredibly much better than the low-end Quest version, there's really no comparison at all.
Here's the full list, but it may contain Quest games which aren't cross-buy, so choose carefully!

Some inspiration for Rift cross-buy games:
The Climb - full CryEngine from Crytek - not to be underestimated!
Myst
Robo Recall
Vox Machinae
The Room VR
Ultrawings 2
After the Fall
The big Steam Summer sale also starts tomorrow, but you won't fint The Climb there - or Robo Recall. The benefit of supporting the Meta Store is that you're getting native drivers for your Meta/Oculus hmd - having to use Steam drivers may reduce performance from 20-30%. But many Steam games also offer native Oculus drivers, so choose carefully.
