Vader Immortal - What time will it be released on Oculus Store today for Rift?

Hey guys, I'm so excited to play this today on Rift. Anyone got any idea what time it's going to be added to store?

I just checked and it's still not showing?

I read we get 45 minutes narrative gameplay and 3 hours of Lightsaber gameplay in the dojo wave shooter game mode.

Apparently as you progress through each wave you unlock crystals for new Lightsabers, that's what I read anyways.

Anybody else excited to play this today?  πŸ˜„

When you buy a Cross-Buy game for your Quest and it's really good... and then it appears in your Rift Store as 'Free' and it's even better, it makes you feel a little bit gooey inside.


and... and... you can unlock Star Wars things for your home

So what's better on the Rifts?

"There is significantly higher resolution/quality in the geometry, textures, materials, reflections, fog, particles and post process. There are dynamic lights and shadows (not all over the place but in good spots). The secondary characters (storm troopers, Vilop, natives, etc) look way better. The anti-aliasing is super clean. I'm not sure i would say it's as big a difference as Robo Recall PC vs Quest but it's pretty big. The one thing that was worse though was feeling the dang cable pulling on my head and dangling around."

A few complained about the game being too gray on Rift-S as described - this will probably not be a problem for CV1 users πŸ˜‰ Especially awesome if the devs fixed the geometry so we hopefully won't get the low-poly scenes from the Quest. This would explain the much higher cpu requirements.

Yep, they grey levels in the S may have some complaining but the jump in clarity over CV1 more than compensates... and then the much reduced god rays too, even the Oculus and ILM logos against a black background are ok.

I would just say that I've now reverted back to my 5.1 speakers instead of Rift-S ported sound and there's a comforting rumble back in my VR gaming life. I'd forgotten how good surround-sound is with the sub-woofer at a decent level and there's more directional info from speakers than from headphones but I think I'll talk about that in a separate thread.

Have to say the 32GB ram must be an error is it not?

I played it fine with 16GB and a standard 1080 card.

yeah ran perfect on i5, 16gb and RTX 2080.

On the Oculus website 32GB has now been reduced to 16GB. So it's official πŸ˜‰
