Well, maybe I should be nice to the devs and stop writing reviews... But I can't help it...

Ok, it's not that bad - but not really great either - my review on Steam, and remember this game is Early Access:

"Strange with so many positive reviews in here, can't help but wonder if some could be from the devs' friends and families 😉
Now, this isn't a bad game, but it's also quite far from a great game - right now it's mediocre. Don't be fooled by the nice screenshots, the graphics in the current game look quite Questified. Thus poly levels look really low, and textures weren't amazing either. Sure, this game would be nice for PhoneVR - or GearVR - or the Quests - with extremely low-end gpu power, but this game does not feel like true PCVR. When it comes to graphics, RedOut: Enhanced Edition and V-Racer Hoverbike are miles ahead of Z-Race, then again V does come quite a few letters before Z 😉
The game performance was nice using Index res 100%, even pretty good using res 200% - with a GTX 1080. But with this kind of graphics I'd expect solid 90 fps res 200% when the game is done. Music did sound great using the Index speakers, nice bass.
You control the racer with your hand - it's a bit cumbersome, but it's the one thing setting this game apart from similar games. In the game you basically go forward and avoid some obstacles, the gameplay felt very poor and uninspired. After 3 or 4 rounds it just felt repetitive.
There's no singleplayer, only multiplayer. I bought this game thinking there was singleplayer, and I guess that might be added later. For now my backlog is far too big to hold on to this game, but I might check out the final version when it's done."
