I got Fantastic Contraption with the Vive when it was first out. It was quite good fun and I imagine it will work very well with the touch controllers. I dont know if they have made any improvements or added new features since I last played it. I got stuck at one point (not too far in) and ended up giving up and not been back to it since. It could be quite a good game to play with the family over christmas though as people not in the rift can give help from the sidelines while watching on the monitor.

Youtube?

Here's one for "The Smashing Battle". Several more if you did a search.

Fantastic Contraption has sample gameplay from Vive, if you did a search too.

Nothing beats reviews from people we know and love... well, trust, at least  😐

I think actual gameplay footage and various reviews from objective sources are quite valuable. With that said, given the videos and feedback I've seen for "Smashing the Battle", I'd say it's worth $3 for those interested in button mashing games. I would've been more hesitant, or pass, at $10.

I'll pass on the "Fantastic Contraption". $5 off $30 seems pretty meh for that.

It's not even cheaper today than it was yesterday on the sale. I thought the two games they change every day would be much cheaper...

I want it though...but not sure for that price hehe. I bought the climb yesterday 😃

@arttek,  Well this thread was really intended as a heads-up as to what today's deals are

... plus a space to say what people think of them, no big deal if that's not wanted!

Someone mentioned earlier that The Edge Of Tomorrow took a while for the price to change. Theres maybe an error, id wait to see if the price comes before purchasing, I thought the daily specials were going to have a heavier discount too.

@mambo1888 interesting, can you remember the price of Edge of Nowhere when it was in the 24hr sale? just wondering if it's still that price now it's back in the Winter sale

I think it was £18.99, then went down to £14.99 for the daily special. Cant confirm though as I already had it purchased so doesnt show the price. I think there is another Winter Sales thread that someone mentioned it mate.
