Having ads, while annoying to EVERYBODY, at least lets devs release free games but still get some income.
But in this case, Blaston is already a paid game, it's $14.99au.
It will be interesting (and possibly depressing) to see how the ads will be implemented.

There will no doubt be some backlash, although the irony will likely be lost considering that HTC lead the charge on "Ads in VR" a few years ago:

For me, I'm hoping that Facebook implements these Ads in creative, innovative, and non-intrusive ways. If so, the OculusVR platform is going to drastically accelerate as organizations pay top dollar to have Ads in VR Experiences.
