That is from last year, but i would have loved a VR headset for the XBX, if it had come i would not have touched the Ps4 or PSVR, but i would have loved some Forza in VR, or Gears, they could have just made the WMR headsets work with the XBX.

Just came across this, and did not remember reading this here (or anywhere) at the time - if it was already covered in depth here at the time, then I will delete the post.

I don't recall seeing that before either.

I'm pretty certain they'll have a VR headset ready for the Nextbox next year.

Not so sure @snowdog - well not at the start anyway, MS seems focused on getting the system out rather than another Kinect2 gimmick to weigh down the launch! That said the "Nextbox" (Xboner!) will how a powerful kick so maybe one of the remaining WinMR partners could throw in with their headset?

I agree - strange as it sited the number of Oculus Go sales speculation and I normally am all over that kind of speculation - CNET does not figure in my normal info search but I would have been sure someone would have posted this and I did not see it, and just checked and could not see a post - weird!

What a bad article written by muppets that have no clue. I listened to the guy say he doesn't think we're there yet with VR, laughed and closed the page.

Without reading the article my guess is they are waiting for everyone else to do the VR work. Then when foveated rendering and all the other stuff for VR is available that's when they will produce a headset.
