Hey there, I found a new and exciting VR game.

The game is called Phasmophobia!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/739630/Phasmophobia/

You and a team of friends/investigators go to peoples houses etc.. and investigate haunted houses...  IN VR, its a absolute blast! but you can play on a monitor too.
I havent had this much fun in a long time!

Communication is a must, so please bring a mic. (communicating with crew and Spirit boxes, ghosts etc.. YES voice recognition for this game!)

Anyway, its $13 on steam... and im actually sore from gripping my controller in tense situations! TOO MUCH FUN!

Warning: If you scare easily please wear a diaper.

I have to share my experience with this game Phasmophobia. My second time playing it, we were investigating a house out in the woods.. I was with some kid, he had to be around 13-16 years old, he played like 3-5 games over me. Anyway.. We were looking for clues finger prints on doors/windows with the UV light and we went out to our mobile home base/truck (Where there is a computer to check out remote cameras we placed etc..  anyway, I go into the house and see him from a distance outside.. (I thought I would mess with him a little) so I shut the door, and hid in the corner, few seconds later.. I had the full body goosebumps because a dark figure came from under the stairs (TRIPPED OUT!). and it got me. I hear a "Oh fuck" faintly in the distance and the kid packed up and drove off...  Unreal experience.

Might be a good idea to move this over to the Games and Apps section of this forum.

I'm on it - just need first to ... finish ... Affected the Manor  :#

Actually tried Dreadhalls the other day ... again ... Said to myself, "how scary can this old Quest-like game be? - Now I'll complete the game once and for all!". Really enjoyed my 3 minutes in there ... again  :#

I'll probably be able to complete Kobold, only in the company of 3 hot supermodels who constantly cheer me up

Things are good over here. The family is covid-free (so far). Hope you are all staying safe as well.

Forum life is... uh... business as usual?  😛

I am going through a VR dry spell as well. After I completed SkyrimVR earlier this year, I was dabbling in other titles for awhile, and then just gravitated back towards pancake gaming. The Steam Summer Sale really sealed that deal! I've been addicted to XCom2 for over a month now. And that was after beating other titles, like: Plague's Tale and Blasphemous. I'm near the final campaign of Doom Eternal as well.

This title you posted sounds perfect for the Halloween season! Not to mention that I was once hugely addicted to that show, Ghost Adventures. This game sounds like I get to live that out, which is epic as hell.

I'm hoping my dry spell with VR ends tomorrow with the release of Walking Dead Onslaught. I'm excited to play as actual Walking Dead characters from the official show.

Since this is a coop do the experienced players have patience with new players? Better still, is there a tutorial before you join a server? Looks like a lot of fun, but it would be crap if there's a bunch of hotheads that just expect you to know the ropes.
