I thought VR Porn would sell VR to the masses

I know most people don't have PC's. But I thought that many people who didn't have PC's would buy PC's just to have access to VR porn. Back in the day, people bought VHS in part because they could also watch porn movies at home. 

I don't think there is anything wrong with viewing porn. I avoid it because I've found that it interferes with real sex. I've tried some VR porn but the quality wasn't great. I haven't tried the ultra-high-quality stuff from paid sites.

What's the current status of VR porn? Is the quality good? Is there enough variety? Do you think someone would buy a VR HMD just for porn?

That is actually impressively realistic!

The VR Adult industry needs more of that. In more Sim type worlds. The VR company, XMoons, had some interesting Apps, but they still seem in a more Early Access state after all these years.

If this kind of detail and animations is possible for lesser funded studios then at some point, these models could replace real actors. Then you have a VR app/experience/game that allows for full user control/participation rather than passively watching a pre-rendered scene with no interaction (current VR porn videos).

 I bought a Quest 2 and I tried a sideload app called Playa. The clarity is astounding. If more people knew this was possible, the Quest 2 would sell like hotcakes. I didn't even know this was possible.
