Impressions simulated 3D driver's for Rift

Hello Rifter's,

I've tested around with 3D Drivers for Rift...for example Vireio and buyed vorpX.

The biggest problems of them are the field of view ingame...first person shooter like bioshock, half life etc. . If i look to a monitor, field of view is ok...cause i look like through a "window".
If i look through Rift, it sucks, cause the field of view is to near of my eyes, it's uncomfortable and there is no immersion.

Next Problem, headtracker works at both, but you have to select the properly mouse sensitivity. If mouse sensitivity is to high, and you turn your head 10 degree...your character turn 180 degree for example...it's frustrating.

Now i understand your problems, that 3D Games need extra development 🙂

A. Its bought, not buyed. 😜
B. All of these problems could be fixed with a little extra time in the settings, and that REALLY shouldn't be a problem for you. Just raise the field of view, and turn the sensitivity down. Problem solved.
