I am about to get a new Graphics card and I'm not sure if I will need to reinstall the Rift. I just wondering, if I'll need to reinstall the Oculus Rift from scratch, or just plug it back into the new Graphics card once I have installed the card?
Does anyone know what I need to uninstal, if I do need to uninstall? Cheers!
I ran into a problem just updating my Nvidia drivers the other day. PC kept crashing mid way through driver install despite having checked the perform clean install option.
Strangely enough, once I uninstalled my Oculus runtime, device drivers, etc, I could only then complete the install of my updated video drivers.
After which I reinstalled everything for the Oculus.
Same here. Never had problems with that. However I would recommend that you fully uninstall your previous graphics card drivers before the swap IF you happen to switch between GPU makers. (from AMD to nvidia or something like that)
