Btw, get the driver here:

Haven't noticed any stuttering in SteamVR at all - but might need that driver for Doom Eternal and for some fun with legos... 🤔

Ya, updated this earlier today. I was on 466.27. I only occasionally get stutter in low level flying with complex flight sims. This new 471.11 driver seems to have slightly better performance with fewer spikes/stutters. Like other updates (no names/brands mentioned) I'm always happy when they don't screw up everything, lol!

Nice, I might jump in too, but for Doom Eternal. So far - testing 3 drivers since I got 3090 - I haven't seen any slowdowns by newer drivers in the Heaven Benchmark and OpenVR Benchmark, so I guess Nvidia is careful.
BabelTechReviews did find some slowdows with newer drivers, but also some benchmarks improved, and they did not calculate total averages. And they used 2080 Ti which may not be similar to 3090.
Many variables and few answers - but we know that losing just 1% performance and your 3090 has turned into a 3080 Ti, lol 😉
