@Stelzer I have a 970 at the moment too ... how many titles have you found ... that need that extra bit of horsepower? Im waiting for the next gen Nvidia Cards this year (and my Oculus isnt going to be here before August apparently so no biggie)
I'm in the same boat. 970 here and anxious to hear how it's going to hold up.

Glad you're enjoying VR. I have been waiting for consumer VR since I tried VR in the 90's. It's not perfect but it's pretty damn good. When you consider how long portable video glasses have been out and they still aren't full HD mostly current VR is pretty good IMO 🙂
I hope you have better luck with VorpX than I have. I can get it to run but it doesn't seem to latch onto the games I have tried (Fallout 4 and GTA V in particular) yet one game I didn't want it to latch onto (I didn't know I still had it running) it latched but didn't look too clever - Hatred.
If you haven't got Virtual Desktop then I can recommend it. Any game that doesn't work in VR can be played on a cinema sized monitor! also you can do everything else you normally do on your PC on the same virtual monitor.

But you have an actual monitor? if you want cinema scale games just move the screen really close and you will have a great high-res experience!
I am just kidding! I can't help but be annoying sometimes
