Looks like Sony agrees that 4k resolution is the target to hit. PSVR 2 is looking like a serious VR kit.

I agree with you. It's how it's used that will tell the tale. The new haptics are supposed to be amazing. I don't have to tell you Zenbane. You are probably as knowledgeable as anyone about it. Also Haptics in the headset if true may be amazing. Rain, earthquakes, bugs crawling across your head. Things we can't even think about. You are right. The processing power upping mages is the smaller part even though important. I think sony will do incredible things with this. I had a blast with the psvr1 with the exclusives with the crappy controllers and subpar visuals. Omg what they will do with this. You have a great memory and may remember me warning members not to preorder some vr products. But I admit I'm a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to oculus and sony products. If I was able to preorder the psvr2 and get a ps5 I would do it in a heartbeat, even without knowing the price. Omg we weren't even told the fov that they said would be bigger. For me without a doubt, even though officially they said the original psvr1 was 100 degrees, I saw immediately the fov was noticeably bigger than when I had my original rift.

Yeap, it is going to be a very good system, can't wait, looking forward to those new controllers with thumb sticks at last. 🙂

The real interest if this will have wireless tether - and act as a standalone as well as a connected. Sony and Apple are in a interesting position to release a product that they can support with their extensive production power.

I'm waiting till I can both afford to spend a thousand dollars (potentially) and I can get a PS5, some games, and accessories for the actual market prices rather then scalper prices. I might have payed scalper prices for a Quest 1 last year... but I regretted doing so immediately. Not buying the quest, just buying it from scalpers.
