The game is now free in the Oculus Store, looks great using Rift CV1 ss 2.0 - and it's a lot of fun.
It's not free on Steam though, I hope this isn't the devs' way of abandoning the Oculus Store...

I'll bump this thread once more - also if these are the last days to get the game for free (I don't know):

Personally I think it's very sad to see a dev giving away a great game for free - unless it's to boost adoption.
I did buy the game some time ago, but could not get Touch to work. Then again, having to use a gamepad if Touch fails isn't that bad. The game reminds me of WipeOut and Polybius.

This game is really awesome, it's kinda growing on me. Also performance is perfect with CV1 ss 2.0 maxing out all in-game settings (=High).
You might need some VR legs for this game, and the racing is second no none - I guess.
I felt bad playing this game for free - and Touch worked perfectly today, thus a gamepad may not be needed.
What to do when wanting to pay the devs for the game? Well, I just bought the game on Steam and don't plan to ever install it 😉

Agreed. Luckily Oculus will soon be offering a way for these Devs to earn an income for their hard work via in-game Ads. This way the Devs don't have to continue to suffer such losses. 🙂
