I can't get my head around who was in charge of making the Rift comfortable. All I can think is that they didn't wear the headset longer then 30 mins. I purchased something from VR cover that uses PU leather around the face and that is the most comfortable material for this headset. I had my headset changed recently and it was just as uncomfortable without the the face plate and PU leather I purchased from VR cover. Here's the link to the cover I purchased
@lovethis, I guess everyone is different. I've had no issues whatsoever with comfort with the stock foam (other than its ability to gather sweat), I can wear it for hours without a problem.
Yes everyone has different skin, but I've heard a lot of people find the Oculus Rift headset uncomfortable. Most of the people I've spoken to have opted to buy from VR Cover and find that the headset is very comfortable after doing that. Oculus are creating a headset for lots of people so they should find something that works for the majority of people if not everyone.
