Understanding early access (for developers)

Hey guys, hope your doing well..
My team are thinking of considering an early access (ea) version of our game, but we seem to have some questions to understand the "early access" way fully:
1. Once the players bout the early access, they will have access to the full game in the future (Like the game will be updated to full)? Or the full vesrion will be another indivisual purchased product?
2. If the game is purchased once only (early access updates to full) then is it fair to charge players the same for the ea as the final full game?
3.We are working on a simple RPG, we have one environment that will be fully polished within the next month - if God wills- and we were wondering if it's possible to make an ea version in that environment  without the story mode of our RGP (just player exploring and interacting with ai in the environment). Is that ok? or do we have to make something more complicated for the ea? Do you have suggestions?

Thanks!
