VR and particularly Oculus as a meditation medium?

Most of us are under the constant stress/anxiety of job, home, kids, school, social status, wealth status, and even retirement.  Given this, I find it a bit shocking that VR has not seemed to find a place anywhere in the neuro-medical profession's counterbalancing meditation techniques.  VR media I see out there seems fully focused on psychic excitement and/or physical exercise, nothing on the many levels of mental and related physical calmness we all eventually need.  Examples of what I have in mind might be of wanderings through VR environments of non-threatening ocean and space; through far-away cities and historical sites; through creative processes underpinning innumerable segments of art and science.  Could be real-life or animated, or a combination, I don't think that aspect would matter, the common goal being to entrance the mind into worlds totally removed from the stress/anxiety otherwise constantly banging away, no tension, total absorption.

It should be evident that I know very little of what I'm writing here.  I read now and then of Zen, Yoga, Mantra, and other popular meditation techniques, and can't imagine that the visual/audio immersion of VR wouldn't help carry each of them some related way forward.

If there is VR media out there of the type described, please respond.  Many of us surly are sorely in need.

VR Meditation apps have been available for several years now. I'm not sure about their quality when compared to standard meditation practices. But they are certainly available to try.

I bought a lifetime subscription to the program Tripp early last year and I’ve enjoyed using it.  It’s available on all Oculus stores (go, Quest, and Rift).  Once you put the free demo on any platform and upgrade to either subscription or lifetime you can then download and login to another Oculus platform for no extra cost.  You need to download their phone app (iOS or android) in order to pair the device you want to use.  You probably want to just give the fee demo a go to begin with.  I have tried other meditation apps but I never found any that work as well for me.  Plus many of those apps take a long time to download sessions.  Tripp sessions startup very quickly.

9 9900k, rtx3090, 32 Gb ram, 1tb ssd, 4tb hdd. xi hero wifi mb, Corsair 750w, Quest 1 w/Link and wireless w/VD, Vive Pro.

Many thanks.  This at least is a start.  Just surprises me that whole libraries of this stuff isn't out there, covering all manner of possible environments and hours in length.  Possibly just a matter of dollars and profits, which of course we all must understand.  I'll keep an eye on these sites, treat this as a jump-off spot, possibly find a steady source of adequate-quality material to rely upon.

Again, many thanks.

Oops, replied, but think it got lost, so trying again.  Many thanks, site looks very helpful, gives me high hopes.  Again, thanks ...

Yeah, I think that it can be applied as a means for meditation. Maybe it will have a pharmacological function
