Could this mean a consumer level device coming from Varjo rather than another B2B high priced device with extra cost of subscription? Will be interesting to see what they announce tomorrow.

Certainly an exiting month for VR with this and Oculus Connect next week.

Fascinating to see how big the Sim-scene is for prosumer headsets.
Have been looking into the RaceRig and Sim-Seat scene, and their on-off love affair with VR. The new eSports racing champions still favor the latest curved flat-screens, but the sim sector is a valuable opportunity for seriousVR.

Yeah more and more simmers are getting into VR for sure. Many with Quest 2's as entry level. Good way for them to get their feet wet with VR so to speak and several will move to some of the higher end devices as they progress. And a few will move to the new Varjo Aero as I will be doing. MSFS 2020 adding VR support has really helped the cause. And from the looks of it MSFS 2020 will be fantastic with this new unit especially as it offers native Open XR support. I just hope DCS and IL-2 Great Battles will be great as well. And of course I will absolutely have to do another play through of Alyx with the new unit.
