Videos compatibility on Virtual Desktop Windows 7

Hi, I'd like to know why on windows 7 I always get a "unable to read video" error on vitual desktop. The same videos works on Windows 10. I'm pretty sure it is a codec problem and I should download it.

But I've search a lot and i can't find the codec package, or maybe i'm wrong...

Please tell me if you know the answer because I'm sure a lot of people uses Windows 7. A link to the codecs would be the best answer ever!!

Thank you!

I think it has something that win 8 or 10 has built into them that win 7 dose not have when trying to play movies and stuff, I use the steam version on win 7 to watch youtube and netflix but the oculus home version will throw up an error message if you try to install it on win 7
