i feel cheated. I buyed it two month ago. 😞 I want the money for difference back.
ordered it 5 weeks before the sale. Contacted support. They only give something back to people who ordered it a couple of weeks before the sale. Not happy either, but thats life i guess. At least they gave me e decent answer after i requested one. Also at least we did not have to wait weeks to get the headset as everyone who purchased it at the sale.
But 200$ is a lot of money when you know you could have saved it by waiting a few weeks. Only bought it then because it was my birthday and it had never gone on sale before (and recently had a price cut).

Has no one ever bought something before only for it to be reduced in price at a later date? I mean seriously get a grip people.
Anyone want to kick off because I managed to get a PS4 two games and a second controller for £179.99 in the amazon prime sale... Boohoo.
Honestly, no. Never happened for me before, i dont cry over this. Im just a little grumpy over it, 200$ is not a small amount of money. But that's how life is. I asked them nicely and they responded nicely and that's it. If you dont try, nothing happens. Its not like i say screw all of it and make a hate group and stuff like that.
Maybe you are one of those people who like to burn money in the weekend, but not all of us are like that.
I'm not mad at anyone for getting a rift cheaper than me, i'm actually happy for them, its a awesome toy. But i'm not happy that could have waited a couple of weeks and got it cheaper. Seriously, it would be insane to be happy about that. If it was 20 or 50$ then i would not have given it a thought other that just "aw dammit, but never mind".
Dont accept everything that happens in life.

It's utterly ridiculous. I seriously can not believe some of the crap I'm reading here. Like... I've never come across this. At this point I just want my price match or an RMA free of shipping costs(After being told to accept the package regardless) and wash my hands of this mess.

I bought my Rift+controllers from Amazon UK for £545 and then noticed the sale price at £399 on overclockers, this was on day 27 of my purchase from Amazon, I rang Amazon told them I wanted to return my Rift because it was on sale elsewhere at a cheaper price. They sent me a returns label and it went back with the refund appearing 3 days later BUT when I went to buy my new Rift from Overclockers they had sold out so I went to the Oculus site where my card was refused (a bank error) and, because I couldn't contact Oculus straight away, the transaction couldn't happen. I eventually went to Game UK who had the Rift at the sale price and managed to get one from them, even though my card was refused again I was able to ring them (after ringing my bank) and eventually I bought a new Rift and saved nearly £150.
One question for Oculus would be why was the Rift on sale in the US at $399 but on sale in the UK at £399.......US$399 is only UK£310 so would Oculus like to refund me the difference or offer me in store credit or should I raise a ticket......Thanks.
