Hey @RebelRedRollo, the Rift and Rift S required minimum specs are about the same. The main difference between the two are the number of USB ports required and the video output. The Rift does require at least one USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports. It also needs an HDMI port for video. The Rift S on the other hand needs a single USB 3.0 port and DisplayPort (or miniDisplayPort with adapter) for video. The system requirements for the Rift and Rift S are available here.
For Oculus Link (at least during this beta period), it requires a PC that meets the recommended specs for the Rift and Rift S. A PC that only meets the minimum specs for the Rift and Rift S will not work. Oculus Link also does not support as many graphics cards as the Rift and Rift S. Oculus Link compatibility information is available here.
Thanks! -Rick
