Will I need to re-purchase games if I trade my Quest 2 64 gig to a 256?

I recently bought the Oculus Quest 2 64 gig system but now feel that I should have bought the 256 gig model. If I decide to purchase the 256 gig, will I have to re-purchase the games already installed on my 64?

Thank you for your answer. I'm assuming the new headset will have the games ready for download once I connect to my account again?

That's correct, you'll see them in your library under the "Not Installed" filter (or the "All" filter).

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

No, just make sure you do a factory reset on the 64 gb and remove device data.

Games are tied to the account, not the device. You can install on multiple devices, and re-download as often as you like.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.
