If you want to use WMR software you need a WMR headset.  What a surprise, lol!

Ya, there are quite a few WMR headsets so what’s your point?

Regardless, Oculus headsets are not compatible with WMR.

I have never been about to get my CV1 or Vive to be seen by W10 WR app, only my Dell VR wmr visor will work with it....but you are not missing much to be honest as almost all the time i used the WMR was with steamVr, which WMR hmds seem to have no issue with.

CV1/Vive-knuckles)/Dell Vr Visor/Go/Quest II/ PSVR.

My point is that many VR headsets do both, so its not unreasonable for someone to ask the question.

Maybe reread the title of this thread.  It’s a fair question but both of your replies are pointless and irrelevant imho.

No Oculus pcvr headset will work with WMR software.  Also, just in case you didn’t know only WMR headsets can access WMR games from the Microsoft Store.

what is funny (imo) is you never see people bitching about the walled garden that is the microsoft WMR store, only Oculus get it in the neck for that.

Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR 🙂

That would require someone to actually use the Microsoft Store though. 😄

Back to the OP, I had a Samsung Odyssey briefly and my Rift CV1 couldn't connect to that environment. I used the Odyssey exclusively for SteamVR and Oculus environments, so it didn't matter. I haven't tried it since.
