Hey guys, I'm sort of new when it comes to VR even though I've had my Oculus Rift S for a while now because I don't get a lot of time to play. But almost every time I go to play games through Steam VR, I have some sort of problem and have to spend my whole time taking the cables out and replugging them, trying weird fixes etc just to try and play. I even got my headset replaced thinking it was a hardware issue but I've had no luck. Sometimes everything works perfectly and other times tracking is completely gone or I get terrible minute-long freezes back to back that make the headset unusable. I'm running the latest beta of Oculus and Steam VR, on 8600k, 1070, 16GB RAM etc. I see no reason why I'm having these issues but it really sucks and turns me off of playing VR. I don't wanna drop $1500+ on a Valve Index just to enjoy VR. Am I doing something wrong? I'm hoping someone can help me figure it out if you take the time to read and respond, thank you so much and I genuinely appreciate it. As I truly enjoy VR but I don't have the time to fiddle around with it for 2 hours every time only to give up and go sleep for work.
