Oculus.com is Unusable

Hi guys,
I am failing to get a stable connection to Oculus.com (well over 1000ms) is there anywhere else I can safely get 0.5.0.1 from? 0.6 is ridiculous and should not have been let out of its electric cage, and I can't even LOAD developer.oculus.com/downloads (it takes about 2 minutes, then times out with a "last rendered" view) I can't imagine what it would be like trying to download anything off Oculus right now

It took me close to 10 minutes just to log-in to type this message (Australian IP)

your spam trigger isnt letting me post anything useful (dislikes we-addresses apparently), but please refer to the image. The signal falls to deaf ears once it hits your Amazon CDN in USA:

Going to the downloads page seem to work fine for me, not sure why you are having issues.

Also, I do see the time outs when trying ping, but this could just be a security setting (not sure).

As always, thanks so much for checking it out and getting back to us! 🙂 Your support is always invaluable!

Indeed your CDN works perfectly fine for me again today (same PC, same connection) - Brisbane (AU).
Yesterday I had to tunnel through our Sydney (AU) office and connect from there: same (national) ISP, exact same trans-Pacific fiber to USA, and then each site was splitting through different Amazon-Registered servers over in USA. One working, and the other (I assume) was out of service or just not forwarding on traffic correctly! o.0

As for your comment about the security settings - you are quite right - in hindsight, it is very likely those servers don't respond to ping (for security/stability reasons) so I may have been wrong to run a tracert to determine where the loss occurred.

Anyway, I dearly hope that CV1 doesnt have any "rolling blackouts" when your product is launched to mass-audience next year.
