My first deception was to realize after I sell my rift to buy a quest, that I would not be able to download all the games I bought on rift and install them on the quest 2.
Relying on some sketchy 3party app to stream in developer mode doesnât feel much safe in an era where we now pay for services (spotify instead of mp3s, netflix instead of dvdrips), even more when the targeted device have cameras all over the front face.
But what is even more frustrating is I receive emails offering me deals, and when I jump to see if they are available of quest, never they are. Deals are only for the rift store.
Whatâs up with all that confusion between stores, why would we not have access to our rift games on quest, is that a license thing? The VR world already doesnât have much games available if we need to pay for them twice... you guys are out of your mind.
Rift and quest should share the same store, the same game licenses, and be offered the same deals. You are dividing the community. My friend want to coop on some game with a special deal price and I wonât benefit that pricing so we just drop the idea.
It tarnish the multiplayer.
Anyway, you get the point.
Keep on rocking, VR is awesome apart from that..
