You tried it when there were very few scopes on the market, but that was a very small market to try to sell them to.

Now you have quest 2 with more than 15 million viewers (plus quest 1). there are very good games on pc that are completely unknown by almost all your clients. Even games from developers that Sony has bought, and it would surprise them to know that they are theirs.

I remember when in the days of Playstation 2 in interviews with developers I read that the most important thing to choose the platform to work with was how many consoles they could sell, because it meant more potential customers. Now you have that market base with Quest 2.
