Bluetooth 4.0 with Oculus Go

Hi Everybody,

I'm working on developing an experience for Oculus Go which will use an external Bluetooth 4.0 Sensor. Is there a way I can pair this with the Oculus Go and access the data? Will I have to write an android plugin? Is it pairable through the app? Please let me know.

Thank You

Was better bluetooth support ever incorporated into the Go?

Now that the Quest's available, the use cases for the Go are shrinking, but also specialising.

VirZoom's VZFit is a great example -- if all you're going to be doing with your headset is using it to enhance an exercise bike, it makes sense to get the Go rather than the Quest, and it has potential for gyms and health centres.

But the hardware for VZFit is very expensive at $100 if you compare it to standard bluetooth bicycle speed and cadence sensors that you can buy for a quarter of that price.

If I could read a BT cadence sensor from my Go, I'd make my own exercise bike experiences for both Go and Quest for my own use and probable public sale, because it'd be an absolute no brainer. I'm trying to get fit, for a start...

will bt dongle work on the Go?

A 3.5mm to BT will, I've done it.. but it's a bit of a hack and you have to charge it separately.
