Oculus Go a good purchase/gift for International Users?

As a company, we are buying some international clients Oculus Go's... But before we do that, we need to know if this is a smart purchase for international users? What is the plugin/charger situation? Are the apps internationally friendly/available? We would like to send to someone who lives in the Netherlands, someone who lives in Great Brittain, and someone who lives in the country of Georgia. Will these individuals have any trouble using Oculus Go in these countries? Please advise

Unfortunately, the warranty will be tied to the original purchaser and that country. So if anything goes wrong they will have issues there.

Only the US version comes with a wall charger, they would have to buy one separately if they already do not own a 10Watt one.

App store has the same apps internationally and that should not be an issue. Although not sure about Georgia.
Core i7-7700k @ 4.9 Ghz | 32 GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance @ 3000Mhz | 2x 1TB Samsung Evo | 2x 4GB WD Black
ASUS MAXIMUS IX HERO | MSI AERO GTX 1080 OC @ 2000Mhz | Corsair Carbide Series 400C White (RGB FTW!)

Be kind to one another 🙂

Not entirely correct.
I was in the same boat and the Oculus support stated gifting a GO is no issue at all.
With that the warrant will be active for whoever actually gets the GO to keep.
There are two ways of doing this:
1. Purchase from Oculus directly and using Paypal for the checkout define a different delivery address.
Write a "gift certificate" stating your invoice number and the GO serial number(s).If sent originally sealed use the serial number on the box.
2. Purchse yourself and sent to the gifted person.
Rest is as above.

On the gift certificate should be the purchse date, invoice number and the coresponding serial numbers.
Also of course full name and address of buyer and gifted person.
For obvious reasons it pays off to have this cert done once the device is there and in your hand or once you have access to the serial numbers.
To make a warranty claim the gifted person then only needs the cert and if in doubt a copy of the original invoice.

If you plan on doing this for more than one or two devices it is a good idea to contact the support before buying.
With a bit of luck you can then already sort the shipping and warranty requirements so it is registered in your account as a reference for the gifted person(s).
