Connect your headset...

I have a problem connecting my Oculus Quest 2 to my computer.
It worked the first time I installed it, but hasn't since then.

I do get the popup " The connected device will be able to access files on this headset", but when clicking 'Allow' or 'Deny', the oculus desktop app still asks me to connect my headset.

Changed cables, reinstalled software, restored OS image, nothing works.

Computer specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

ASUS Rog Strix B550-F Gaming   (bios 2006)

ASUS TUF OC 3090

16GB GSkill 3600Mhz RAM

Windows 10 1909 (build 18363.1500)

Ok, I've been dealing with this for a few days, but just now it seems to work again.
I unplugged and reset the headset to factory defaults using the phone app.

Then went to device manager, set it to show hidden devices, deleted the headsets and other oculus items (removing drivers also).

Went to the oculus folder in program files and ran OculusSetup.exe, asking it to repair my installation.

Et voila!  Back in business.
