Downloading Apps/Games to PC before Oculus has arrived?

Hey everyone. I am an excited future Quest 2 owner (Tomorrow) and am curious whether I can get started?

...I already know which apps/games I want, and would love to begin downloading them to speed up the process tomorrow when my headset arrives. I legitimately have no idea how this thing goes. Can I login, and purchase, and download any games/apps to my PC, and then transfer tomorrow to my headset?? That would be wonderful to get started.

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Shane

If your planning on doing the pc vr (link/air-link) yes you can.
download and setup the rift s software

https://www.oculus.com/download_app/?id=1582076955407037

then choose which rift s(link/airlink) titles you want to play.

DISCLAMIER: THE TITLES YOU DOWNLOAD ON THE PC ARE NOT NATIVE TO THE QUEST YOU MAY NEED TO ADDITIONALLY PURCHASE AND RE DOWLOAD THE GAME TO QUEST 2 HEADSET (DO A GOOGLE SEARCH FOR QUEST CROSS-BUY)

For quest 2 native you can not pre download games, you can only pre buy games but if you have a wifi 6 modem and decent internet speeds it shouldn't take too long to download.

Search google play or Apple store for the oculus app to get you going.

Thanks a million Pitt!

Before you download and buy a lot of games on the PC make sure you have a pc capable of running link.

make sure your gpu/cpu combo is listed as supported and you may need to update drivers as required.  Also if you running on a laptop they are finicky.
