Please do not let your children use this device it lets off EMF and LMF

which break down cells in the brain can cause tumours

Oh look! Science!. People said the same thing about cell phones, yet there’s been no increase in cases. Please refrain from posting a link from a homeopathic website.

It has a iec 6061 decal on it so it has passed the minimum human safety factors.

You're right about this!
I've just tested it and it radiates!
i'm not an expert and i don't know how damaging that is. But I can imagine that this cannot be healthy in the long run.

Interesting lecture to this topic and since our Quest 2 is basically a converted smartphone. Maybe that's why to draw a comparison, because we strap the Oculus device to our heads for hours:

Now go check how radioactive the “Brazil nuts” in the super market are, or the ones I eat every day! And bananas! Then look into how much radiation we get hit with simply from being out in the world/on the surface of the earth. I get it that it sounds like radiation=scary, but do some research on how much radiation you’re already exposed to before you throw away a harmless hobby.

You compare natural radiation from Brazil nuts with man-made EMF radiation? OK then...
I think that you should definitely worry when you put any electrical devices wich radiates on your head for longer exposure time. Therefore there are measurements from manufacturers like Oculus before they releasing such a device like the Q2, to check out how strong it radiates. Like PITTCANNA said, it has an IEC approval.
There is a reason why these devices are checked beforehand. Whether you can get any fatal brain tumor is an open question, but I think it's wrong to just dismiss it.

But anyway, I will play some nice VR games today.
No risk, no fun 😉

Cheers!

Holy **bleep** that is the least scientific thing i have ever seen.  I work in medical device and have quallified actuall passive and active radio emitters.  What you have is a novelty "METER" that i would not use in any court ruling.

I have done full iec 6061 testing and i have never seen such a joke of a tool.

Just by moving it around in the manner your doing is influencing the gaussian current flow.

Hahaha, you're right! This thing is really cheap . What is a "full iec 6061 testing"? Can't find anything about it on the net. But it sounds very interesting!

Typical readings and IEC studies.

Its a long read and has some good info.  But before you start peddling fear porn, do some basic training on iec codes and regulations.
