Look into Virtual Desktop. I play both games wirelessly with no problems at all. I7-4790/1660s/16gb. There is some setup and fine tuning to achieve this, youtube is your friend. It should be possible with the link also, I gave up on that after finding Vd. Link should be better in every respect but, that has not worked out for me in the slightest, nothing but stuttering and glitching. I won't ever play a wired headset again after using my setup.

Virtual Desktop is not the solution. A lot of games are not fully supported and you also get micro stutterings too. VD is nice but that is it.
The 1660 may be a bit too slow for VR. That is the first thing. The other is probably problems on the USB port. What data rate do you get? You can check it out by the Oculus software. Also deactivate any led software like Aura (Asus) or icue (Corsair).
