My phone isn't paired and I can't get out of the the controller pairing menu

I can't pair my controllers to my quest 2 because it keeps asking me to pull the tabs, and I can't connect my controllers via wifi because my quest 2 isn't connected to my phone and doesn't have it's wifi on. How do I fix this?

Hey there! We know pairing issues can be pretty discouraging when you just want to play, so we'd love to lend a hand! 

 

As for the controller pairing issues, could you please answer the following:

 

  1. When was this first noticed?
  2. Have you tried any troubleshooting?
  3. Has the headset ever been dropped before? (Or mishandled in general)

 

In regards to the app pairing with the headset, could you provide this insight:

 

  1. Is it a code error, or a type of app access error?
  2. When was this first noticed?
  3. Was your account set to be the admin account on the headset?

 

Could you also test out the following:

 

  1. Reboot your headset:
    • Turn off the headset
    • Hold the Power and Volume Down (-) buttons together until the menu loads.
    • Use the Volume Buttons to highlight Boot Device and press the Power Button.
