This is happening on both of my controllers, my right controller's thumbstick will always go up or to the left regardless if I'm in a game or not. If there is a menu where I can scroll up, it will do it at its own will.
For the left controller, whenever I use the front trigger to select, it almost always double selects. Like how a broken mouse double clicks when you only click once.
I've tried blowing into the thumbstick while moving it, taking the battery out, un-pairing and pairing again. I'm honestly out of solutions.

Mine have been doing the exact same things for months now. Nothing seems to work to fix it. And the controllers have been out of stock that entire time.

my left stick hit crazy drift that escalated quickly and worsened while at the same time the right trigger stopped selecting buttons but still shows me pressing it and the button select icon goes grey to blue... went through all troubleshooting to no avail. seems like system problem to me.
