Official earphone issues

I have the official earphones and they are both outputting left audio channel when connected to the Quest. This means they are useless for spacial audio and there appears to be no solution. 
I've seen others online with the same issue so I've contacted Oculus who have said I can have a refund. The problem is, they haven't got back to me for 3 days now, so I'm left with broken earphones and no money to purchase another (hopefully not faulty) set of earphones from Amazon (who I'd much rather deal with).
