My Quest Link regularly stops working. The Cable is a USB c 3.1 high speed. It usually works fine but then stops working for no apparent reason. The only thing that seems to fix it is to open my laptop (which means removing 7 screws), disconnecting the battery, and reconnecting it. This is a royal pain in the arse and I risk losing little screws each time.
The power cycling solution tells me that something is getting gummed up and a "flag" needs to be reset. Who knows what flag is getting gummed up and can tell me how to reset it without opening up my damned laptop? I think a lot of people need this information.
