Trouble setting up the Oculus for Windows App

D0dg3r-24
Honored Guest

I'm a bit of a noob with gaming computers and I need help.

What I have:

Lenovo Legion 5 with Ryzen 7 4800H processor

16gb DDR4

Nvidia GTX 1660Ti graphics card

Windows 10

Oculus Quest 2

In trying to set up the Oculus for Windows app, I get the message to update the graphics card so I can use the headset. According to GEFORCE EXPERIENCE, all 0f my drivers are up to date. What am I doing wrong?

Any and all help is welcome.

This noob thanks you

I'm no expert either. I assume you reset your computer after updating? You could try downloading steam instead, they have far more vr games anyway. I've read a lot of problems with the link lately, especially since the last few updates. This may have something to do with it. Your computer is plenty capable. I use a similar setup just wireless, no problems here.

Also, I don't see how any of this will help but here are a couple oculus links concerning the, lol, oculus link.

Sorry, I'm really not trying to spam your post! Just crossed my mind though... Search drivers on nvidias website. Make sure you select (mobile/laptop/notebook/whatever they call it) if you have a laptop computer. You can download older versions of the driver. Try a few different ones and see if oculus likes any of them. Again, i'm no computer guru but you probly want to uninstall what you have and start over with a different driver. good luck!
