The Oculus Quest uses two diamond Pentile OLED displays, each with an individual resolution of 1440 × 1600 and a refresh rate of 72 Hz.

I don't know, I suppose it's all down to personal preference, the quest is the 1st real VR I've bought and i'm not in the least bit disappointed. Have a search on youtube for honest reviews of the quest, i'm pretty sure no one will say its a waste of money and i should have bought ........ instead.

The quest is a standalone untethered VR machine so you get what you'd expect at the price point

If you have a powerful enough PC to use the link cable then I think i'm right in saying you get a better picture with the quest than you do with the Rift S. If you've got the cash and a monster pc then go for the valve index

Ok because I have a vive right now with a wire but I want wireless so I was thinking of buying a wireless adapter but that is almost as much as a quest, so then I did not really know what would be the most worth it.
Right now I have around 2100 x 2400 so I will test with my vive if I will be satisfied with 1440 x 1600.
I will also look up a honest review on youtube,

The Vive is 1080x1200 per eye.
The Vive Pro is 1440 x 1600.

You may be super sampling higher, but that's not what the panels are physically showing.

Hmm ok because when I lowered it to 1440 x 1600 I could see a pretty big difference

For me its all in the optics, the Rift S is by far a better picture than my Quest.  You can all play the numbers game, but I know which one I prefer.
