Is auto sleep deactivated in developer mode or something?  My auto sleep seems to have stopped working recently 😕

It shouldn't be. Have you checked that you haven't set the auto sleep timeout to a large value in settings?

nope - doesn't seem to be working for me any more 😞 have it set to 15 seconds but never goes to sleep 😞

Are you using anything which might be interfering with the proximity sensor, like a cover or similar?

oooooh! good call grayhaze - i am using one of these https://vrcover.com/product/oculus-quest-vr-cover/   do you think this would make a difference?!

Got same issue out of the blue. Using VR Cover as well, but worked before it happened with the VR Cover attached

Same problem here. Then tried without the VR Cover and it worked.  Put it back on - not working.  So I just adjusted the actual pad a tiny bit higher on the VR Cover so that it cleared the sensor and there you go.  Fixed it for me at least.
