I am having the same problem. Headset worked fine for a couple of days at first.
Now I get the tracking lost message every time I start up the device. Sometimes it will automatically move passed that message, sometimes it won't and a restart is required.
What's even more annoying is that I lose tracking during gameplay as well.
Nothing has changed in my lighting setup. I have tried:
- clearing guardian history
- repairing controllers
- disable handtracking
- disable an re-enable tracking
Nothing seems to improve anything.

I have the exact same issue, I have to wait a bit and sometimes tapping the side of the headset to enable the cameras helps but other times it doesn't, then I make sure the controllers are both on and visible as well but I hope they get their ass in gear on this cause it's super annoying.

Sounds like this is an issue with quite a few people. I got a message back from Oculus to "video" the problem and upload it to them. I mean really, all it says is Tracking lost, then it turns guardian off and I have to wait for it to go away and reload guardian....Have you found anything that works?
